Half-Life 1

No idea why you’re here, seeing as I made this blog added some stuff and never updated, but for that you get this:

Half-Life 1 Portable.

Unlike what I did months ago, this is Half-Life 1.6 instead of 1.5, so there are more features. Here’s a list of stuff about the release:

  • Cracked with SteamEmu
  • Newest Version
  • Includes AMXModX and Metamod
  • Crack with Setti’s MAster Server (Online works, custom maps might not)

39 MB!!!

To use, download http://rapidshare.com/files/126436435/Half-Life_Deathmatch_Portable.rar, extract it with WinRar, get the file to a computer (at school), and run it.

If your teacher doesn’t mind/won’t notice, let it install to Program Files so you don’t have to run it each time.

If not, installl in temporary so it’ll be deleted eventually, and reinstall will be required

A shortcut to run Half-Life will be created on the desktop when finished.

Working on Half-Life 1

I’ve been working on Half-Life 1 (and Counter-Strike 1.5, and TFC 1.5) for a while.

Changes from original so far:

  • Deleted duplicate files
  • Added files in the .pak
  • Removed unnecessary files in sound folder

That’s it so far

The sounds folder has some sounds from Half-Life single player, but since were only intereted in Deathmach, and this is the CS Retail version which doesn’t have single player, they’ve been remvoed

This is very time consuming as I removed all the files, then test each map to see if it gives any errors.

Eventually I’ll move to the model files and otheres, but those take longer as they crash Half-Life instead of just giving an error message

Freeciv 2.1.4 GTK Portable

Well this is pretty much what I do for school, take a game, trim it down, put it on a USB drive, and play it there. Today, we were discussing about games to play tomorrow, and we decided on Freeciv, because someone wanted to play Civilization, but I didn’t wanna bother finding it. So here it is, it pretty much just installs it to the computer and automatically runs it when it’s finished. This was made with the computers at my school in thought because every time they are turned off, they restart to a certain state.

Changes from original:

  • Packed in WinRAR
  • UPX compressed
  • Removed some documents

Disclaimer: Because some files are removed, it might not work as well as it should. Please report if it crashes and how. To learn how to play Freeciv, visit Freeciv.org, as it is there game, not mine.
